The "All About Yumeji Takehisa" exhibition is currently being held.
It's more fulfilling than you can imagine, so if you like it, please go.
*I have visited the famous Ikaho Memorial Hall, Yayoi Art Museum, and local art museums in Okayama, but I was surprised that there were still so many wonderful paintings.
*The exhibition period is limited to January 14th.
*Surprisingly, it is free for those over 65 years old. PK also receives a free ticket for 1 hour.
This is the good thing about getting older lol
*Photos are from the instruction book sold at the shop.
It was within walking distance from Takasaki Station and right next to my hotel, so I stopped by.The unexpected Yumeji Takehisa exhibition had a wide variety of exhibits and was worth seeing👍
This art museum is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Takasaki Station. Although the building is compact and the exhibition space is not large, works are exhibited in five exhibition rooms from the 1st to 3rd floors.
On this day, an exhibition of works by Yaeko Inoue, a painter born in Takasaki City, was being held as a special exhibition.
The artist is known for his large-eyed women and his passionate use of red, and I enjoyed his impressive collection of works.
There is also an excellent collection in the permanent exhibition.
The former residence of businessman Fusaichiro Inoue is preserved outside on the first floor of the museum, and you can tour inside.
As the surrounding area becomes more urbanized, I feel that buildings and gardens that retain the atmosphere of old mansions are becoming very valuable.
I went to the Takehisa Yumeji exhibition.
I visited the Takehisa Yumeji exhibition.
It was my first time visiting, and I thought it would definitely be barrier-free since it's municipally run, but I researched nearby parking lots before visiting (^-^)
This time, I parked my car at the west exit of South Park (there are 6 parking spaces on the second floor), took the elevator down, and crossed the intersection to reach the museum.
She is a master of beautiful paintings that make you think that she is beautiful even now.
The design is also very stylish.
I couldn't help but go shopping at the shop (^-^)
It was a shame that there was no museum cafe, but I visited the nearby Free Time (^-^)
Although I visited in the morning, there seemed to be a lot of people visiting, which proves the popularity of Yumeji Takehisa.
The location is good, so why not come and visit us?
An urban art museum that can be reached on foot from the station.
I've been there many times before and was very inspired.
thank you. …
The Inoue residence is a must-see architecture. Please note that there is limited viewing time.
I had imagined it to be a compact museum, but it was quite spacious and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
